Corel Anti-Slavery Policy

Slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking (collectively, “Slavery”) all have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. Corel Corporation and its affiliates (collectively, “Corel”) are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in our business dealings to ensure Slavery is not taking place in our business.

Compliance with this Policy

All Personnel must ensure that they read, understand, and comply with this policy.

The prevention, detection, and reporting of Slavery in any part of Corel’s business, including in our relationships with vendors, distributors or resellers, and outside consultants or advisors, is the responsibility of all Personnel.

All Personnel agree to:

avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy
seek vendors and service providers for Corel who are committed to ethical business practices, including Anti-Slavery provisions and practices
report any belief or suspicion that a breach of this policy has occurred or may occur in the future

If unsure about whether a particular activity breaches this policy or constitutes Slavery, Personnel must raise it with Corel’s compliance committee.

How and When to Notify in a Case of Non-Compliance

Any Personnel that believe or suspect that a breach of this policy has occurred, or may occur in the future, must immediately notify the General Counsel, who chairs Corel’s compliance committee. In addition, Personnel are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of Slavery in any part of Corel’s business.

Breaches of this Policy

Any Personnel found to be in breach of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
