With some big improvements from the earlier versions, we released the 2018 edition of CorelDRAW which increased the designer’s work efficiency by a mile.
As always, we focused on speeding up the tools to reduce processing time and allowing designers more time to create. For example, with the symmetry drawing mode, they could instantly generate all kinds of shapes and objects. Making complex shapes like kaleidoscopes in no time increased productivity immensely.
Using solid vector shadows to objects and text resulted in quick processing of graphic data. To be exact, limiting the number of lines and nodes in shadows allowed faster conversion and helped designers to spend more time on their design rather than lengthy processing.
Another cool addition, PhotoCocktail was designed for making ideal photo collages. Combining the image taken by the users with tons of royalty-free images bundled with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018, anyone could create professional-grade photo collages with PhotoCocktail.
Corel AfterShot 3 HDR was a major inclusion in this package which was primarily used for refining RAW and JPEG images imported from the cameras. The HDR mode attributed to high dynamic range images with minimum effort. Both experienced and novice photographers benefited hugely from this tool.
Creating a vector mosaic from a vector or bitmap object became a piece of cake by using the Pointillism style. It opened up a way to create beautiful vehicle wraps and window designs and other digital forms of graphics like logos, brochures, website designs.
