"Music is the primary source for the ideas in my paintings. When I listen to music—which exists not only as air and sound, but as motion and emotion—I try to hear its essence: its particular beauty, its unique character and its architecture. That's what I try to put into paint on canvas."
"Corel Painter has allowed me to extend the traditional spectrum of my art tools to the digital realm. Suddenly, I'm able to move seamlessly from watercolor to oils, to chalks and to pretty much anything I can imagine, and turn into a brush or a pattern. I love to be able to paint with Paper Textures and use them like paint and ink on canvas. My 'Flamenco' Duende series of paintings are a unique mixture of collage layers, poetry and painting. I'm looking forward to more experiments at the boundaries of traditional and digital media."
