Technique: Maura enjoys working with her photographic images in Corel Painter. "One of my favorite things about Painter, is the wonderful variety of brush variants the program offers. The assorted options on brush settings allow me to create a unique signature style which Bruce and I have named Photo Impressionism®. As a final step for my artwork, I will often apply textural embellishments from my "Mama Maura's Textures" collection to add just the right touch of dimensional interest. And, for me, a piece is not truly finished until I have printed the artwork onto archival watercolor paper or giclee canvas." – Maura Dutra
