Tracing your route on a map
With Painting Creator, you can trace your route on a map. Show your friends and family the places you've traveled to by sketching an animated trail and plotting your destinations on a map.
To Trace Your Route on a Map:
1. Let's draw a route on a world map. After inserting an image in the timeline like the sample image above, click 
. This opens the Painting Creator workspace.
2. Click 
to select the Paintbrush in the Toolbar. Drag the Brush height and Brush width sliders to adjust the size and shape of the paintbrush.
3. To make tracing your rout on the map more accurate, drag the Preview Window Background Image Transparency Setting slider to the left to make the background image more visible.
4. Pick a color from the Color Palette.
5. Click 
. Trace your route on the map, plotting your destinations as you draw your trail.
6. After tracing your route on the map, click 
. A thumbnail of the trail you drew will appear in the gallery panel.
7. You can preview your animated route by selecting 
.
8. Select OK to produce the Painting Creator file and close the Painting Creator workspace.
9. Select and drag the animated route you drew from the Video Gallery onto the Overlay Track.
10. Have more fun with Painting Creator by tracing other routes such as directions to different destinations. You can even take the next step and create animated drawings to spice up your still images and videos!
