Importing video from a DVD camcorder disc

DVD camcorders produce great digital video quality in MPEG 2 format. Now, you can import your DVD home movies and digital photos straight from your DVD camcorder disc to VideoStudio's Timeline. You only have a few steps to follow...

To import video from a DVD camcorder disc:

  1. After recording your video on your DVD camcorder disc, connect your camcorder to your computer using a USB cable. Your camcorder is detected and functions as a removable drive.

  2. Right-click Edit Step and select Insert DVD/DVD-R.

  3. The Select a DVD Title dialog box is displayed.

  4. Select your DVD camcorder under Drive and click Import.

  5. Your video is added to the Timeline.

You can now proceed to edit your high quality MPEG 2 clips.
