Using the Glow brush
You can use the Glow brush in Corel® Painter™ X to add ambient light effects to your artwork. By adding small bits of more intense color, you can make focal points of your artwork standout.
The effects you create with the Glow brush can also help make a painting more intriguing. For example, you can add radiance and shine to metallic objects, or lightning to the sky.
The sample image below was created by renowned Painter Master Ryan Church, who is one of the leading concept artists working today. The lightning effect emanating from the machine on the left and the fiery luminescence beaming from below the machine both make good use of the Glow brush. In addition, the incandescent light seen from the windows of the machine and the aircraft were created with the Glow brush.
