Kris Hagerman, Interim CEO

Kris Hagerman has served as Corel's Interim CEO since May 2008. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Hagerman was a Senior Advisor at Vector Capital. Prior to that, he served as Group President, Data Center Management at Symantec where he was responsible for all product development, product management, business development, and go-to-market strategies for one of Symantec's three business units, focused on enterprise infrastructure software. Mr. Hagerman joined Symantec through the company's merger with Veritas Software in July 2005. At Veritas, Mr. Hagerman served as executive vice president and General Manager of the storage and server management group, where he led all product-related responsibilities for one of Veritas' two business units. Previously, he served as executive vice president of strategic operations for the company, managing strategic alliances, business development, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining VERITAS, Mr. Hagerman served as founder and chief executive officer of Affinia Inc., where he created the Internet's first contextual merchandising platform. Prior to that, Mr. Hagerman was the founder and chief executive officer of BigBook, Inc., a pioneering Internet yellow pages service. In addition, Mr. Hagerman has held various management positions in consulting, sales and marketing, business development, and finance at companies such as Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, McKinsey & Company, and Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Hagerman holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also received a master's degree in international relations from Cambridge University and a bachelor's degree in Russian and economics from Dartmouth College.

Douglas R. McCollam, Chief Financial Officer

Douglas McCollam has served as Corel's Chief Financial Officer since January 2004 and became a member of the company's board of directors in October 2004. From July 1996 to January 2004 he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NORDX/ CDT. He previously served in various capacities at Nortel Networks, including as Vice President Finance and Administration for Nortel CALA from 1993 to 1996. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Motorola Nortel Communications from 1991 to 1993, Group Controller Switching from 1989 to 1991 and Assistant Vice President, Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis from 1987 to 1989. Mr. McCollam is a Certified Management Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Amanda Bedborough, Executive Vice President, Global Sales

Amanda Bedborough has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in 2001. In her current role as Executive Vice President, Global Sales, Ms. Bedborough is responsible for defining and leading the company's global channel, eCommerce and OEM sales strategies.

With over 19 years of international sales experience, Ms. Bedborough has built strong working relationships with global distributors and OEMs and has established a successful track record of expanding business into new markets. Prior to joining Corel, she served as Vice President, EMEA Operations for 3dfx Interactive, Inc., and as International Sales and Marketing Director at STB Systems Inc., before it was acquired by 3dfx. Ms. Bedborough is a Member of the Institute of Directors.

Joe Roberts, Interim Executive Vice President, Products

Joe Roberts has served as Corel's Interim Executive Vice President, Products since March 2009. In this role, Mr. Roberts is responsible for business development, product management, product marketing, and product development for Corel's graphics, productivity, and digital media products, including CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Corel Painter, Paint Shop Pro Photo, Video Studio, WinDVD and WordPerfect Office.

An established industry executive with over fifteen years of experience in consumer-oriented software, Roberts was President of Broderbund software prior to it being sold to Riverdeep. At Riverdeep, Roberts served as President, Worldwide Products and Marketing where he was responsible for growing revenue to over $270M by extending the business into alternative media. After leaving Riverdeep, Roberts served as President of Cosmi Corporation, a leading publisher and distributor of physical and digital PC software solutions. Most recently Roberts has provided strategic consulting services to a variety of software companies as President of J.D. Roberts Group. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Davis.

Nick Davies, Senior Vice President, Product Management and Product Marketing

Nick Davies has served as a member of Corel's leadership team since joining the company in 2001. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Product Management and Product Marketing, he is responsible for all product management and product marketing efforts for the company's graphics, productivity, and digital media products, including CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Corel Painter, Paint Shop Pro Photo, Video Studio, WinDVD and WordPerfect Office.

With over 15 years of strategic marketing experience, Mr. Davies previously held positions as Vice President EMEA for Ecademy Ltd., Brand and Marketing Manager for Coleman Europe, Commercial Manager France for Virgin Cola, and Marketing Director for Puma Sports company. Mr. Davies holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School in France, and a BA with honors in Business Administration from the European Business School in the United Kingdom.

Kevin Thornton, Senior Vice President, Americas Sales

Kevin Thornton has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since rejoining the company in 2007. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Americas Sales, Mr. Thornton is responsible for the company's retail, channel, and license sales activities in North America and Latin America. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Thornton served as Senior Vice President Sales, Small Business Division (SBD) at Sage Software. He previously held management positions with Coca-Cola Bottling Company and was the Vice President Sales, Americas for Corel. Mr. Thornton holds an Honours degree from the University of Ottawa.

Kazuo Sakai, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan Operations and President, Corel Japan

Kazuo Sakai has served as Corel's Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan Operations and President, Corel Japan since September 2008. He is responsible for the company's retail, channel, and license sales activities in Asia Pacific and Japan, and also has global responsibility for the company’s OEM sales efforts. Previously, Mr. Sakai held senior executive positions at Microsoft, where most recently he served as Program Vice President, Digital Entertainment Partner Group. He also had a long career with AMD, where he served as Chairman of AMD Japan; Corporate Vice President, Sales and Marketing, South Asia Pacific; and Vice President, Sales and Marketing, North Asia Pacific. Mr. Sakai holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo Electric University.

Graham Brown, Chief Technology Officer

Graham Brown has served as Corel's Chief Technology Officer since August 2008. His responsibilities include IT, Research & Development (R&D) Localization, and R&D for In-Product Marketing. Previously, Mr. Brown held the positions of Executive Vice President, Product Development, from April 2002, and Vice President of Software Development, Business Applications, from 1998 to 2000. He joined Corel in 1991. Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.

Jeremy Liang, Senior Vice President, Digital Media Development

Jeremy Liang has served as Corel's Senior Vice President, Digital Media Development since June 2007. In this capacity, Mr. Liang is responsible for leading the development efforts behind the Company's award-winning digital media portfolio while maintaining Corel's leadership position with technology innovations that inspire and delight customers. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Liang spent 10 years with Trend Micro where he served as EVP of Engineering, EVP of Information and Engineering Operations, and most recently EVP of Information and Chief Security Officer. Liang holds a masters degree in computer science from New Mexico Tech and a bachelor's degree in computer science from ChiaoTung University, Taiwan.

Shawn Cadeau, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing

Shawn Cadeau has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since rejoining the company in 2006. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Mr. Cadeau is responsible for corporate branding, public relations, market strategy , global marketing campaigns, customer service and support, and manufacturing. Prior to Corel, Mr. Cadeau held senior or executive positions at Adobe Systems, Accelio Corporation (formerly JetForm) and Cebra Inc., an e-business subsidiary of The Bank of Montreal. Mr. Cadeau holds an Honours degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Nathalie Parent, Vice President, Human Resources

Nathalie Parent has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in April 2009. In her current role as Vice President, Human Resources, Ms. Parent is responsible for employee compensation and benefits, organizational development, talent management, succession planning and employee relations and communications.

Prior to joining Corel, Ms. Parent spent 13 years at Cognos Incorporated both in Canada and in Europe, most recently serving as VP, HR, Global Operations where she was responsible for Field Operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to her work at Cognos, Ms. Parent served as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and she is a Certified Human Resource Professional and a Certified Global Compensation Professional. She sits on the Global Advisory Board of WorldatWork and has been a featured speaker at several conferences.
