Corel software lands on the tablet PC
As a loyal Corel user, you know we're ahead of the technology game. In fact, we're one of the first companies out of the gate to develop software for Windows® XP Professional Tablet PC Edition. Starting with Corel® Grafigo™—pen-based graphics software that eliminates the need for a mouse or keyboard—Corel will soon be offering a line of products designed for the mobile knowledge worker.

What does that mean? It means that whether you're in a meeting, on the road or in an elevator, you can use Corel software to take notes, create graphics or collaborate with colleagues across the globe. It's literally technology you can take anywhere. Stay tuned for more information about Corel Grafigo, Painter 7™, CorelDRAW® 10 Graphics Suite and Corel® DESIGNER™ 9 on the tablet PC.

The Digitalism Tour goes out west
The Digitalism Tour stopped by the Santa Monica Airport last week to introduce digital painting software to an audience more accustomed to real-world paint and canvas.

In Los Angeles, several hundred curious LA Art Show guests also climbed aboard DaVE, the digitalism vehicle that's currently on a mission to introduce digitalism to people across North America. DaVE's visitors quickly engaged the idea of creating art on a computer after viewing live presentations of the latest digital tools.

Renowned San Diego artist Cher Threinen-Pendarvis joined the Tour in LA to present Painter 7 . "I think it's important to show traditional artists how exciting these new tools are," said Ms. Pendarvis. "With the computer, I can combine media, such as oil paint, chalk and watercolor, that would be impossible to combine traditionally, and this flexibility has allowed me to push my work to new limits. There's no limit to what you can do with this program!"

DaVE is scheduled to appear in the following cities in November: St Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Visit www.digitalismtour.com for more details.
