Adding rainbows to landscapes in Bryce® 5

In Bryce 5, a rainbow is one of the many atmospheric effects that you can add to a landscape. You can adjust the width and the opacity of the rainbow to customize the effect.

To add a rainbow to a landscape:

1. Click Objects, Sky Lab.
2. Click the Atmosphere tab.
3. Enable the Rainbow option.
4. Move the Radius slider to control the width of the rainbow.
5. Move the Opacity slider to control the intensity of the colors of the rainbow.
6. In the Sun controls area, drag the sun to the middle of the bottom edge of the Sun position control to display the rainbow. By dragging the sun either to the left or right in the Sun position control, the rainbow can be partially displayed.

Note:
Rainbow effects are linked to those of the sun. As the color or intensity of the sun changes, so does that of the rainbow.

Changing the default interval for timed backups in WordPerfect 10

In WordPerfect 10, you can change the default interval for timed backups. This feature lets you save work as frequently as you deem necessary. For example, if you are a fast typist, you can reduce the interval to three minutes so that you save as much work as possible with each backup.

To change the default interval for timed backups:

1. Click Tools, Settings.
2. Click the Files icon.
3. Click the Document tab.
4. Enable the Timed document backup every check box. The check box is enabled by default.
5. Type a value in the Minutes box.
