Eroding terrains in Bryce® 5
In Bryce® 5, you can erode terrains. This feature allows you to create smoother looking terrains.
To erode a terrain:
- Click a terrain.
- Click Objects, Edit object.
- In the Editing tools panel, click the Elevation tab.
- Click the Eroded button, and drag to the left or right to erode the terrain.
Dragging to the right will elevate the terrain, adding ridges to heighten the effect. Dragging to the left will reduce the elevation of the terrain.
Corel Brings WordPerfect® to HP PCs
The WordPerfect suite of software is now bundled across Hewlett-Packard Company's (HP) home and business PCs. Corel Corporation and HP recently completed the following bundling initiatives:
- A trial version of WordPerfect® Office 2002 is included on HP Pavilion desktop PCs for the North American market.
- WordPerfect 9, the award-winning word-processing program, is included with HP Pavilion ze1000 series notebook PCs sold in North America. HP Pavilion ze1000 and HP Pavilion zt1000 series notebook PC owners have the opportunity to upgrade to WordPerfect Office 2002 through a special in-box promotional offer.
- Brazilian-Portuguese and Spanish editions of WordPerfect 9 are also bundled on HP Vectra business desktop PCs for the Latin American market.

In Corel® Presentations™ 10, you can separate text lines. This feature lets you apply different effects, such as colors, sizing, and rotations, to each character in the text line.
To separate a text line:
- Select a text line.
- Click Tools, Trace text.
