| Corel's Linux® market share increased by more than eight times from November 1999 to February 2000, according to recent U.S. retail market information from PC Data. It's no surprise then, that the Corel® Linux® Roadshow was a huge success, with 10 sold out shows and three shows added to accommodate demand. Corel announced a string of strategic Linux partnerships with computer manufacturers in April. Maxspeed's Linux® desktop devices will be bundled with Corel® LINUX® OS and WordPerfect® Office 2000 for Linux® OEM. A deal with Polywell Company Inc. will see them bundle Corel LINUX OS and WordPerfect Office 2000 for Linux OEM version with any one of its multi-boot Linux, Windows® 98, Windows NT® and Windows 2000 systems. |

WordPerfect® Office 2000 (Windows®) users can now download Service Pack 3. This update improves conversion and formatting of documents in WordPerfect 9 and Quattro® Pro 9 notebook linking. Paradox® 9 printing functions have also been improved, and some minor issues in Corel® PresentationsTM 9 and CorelCENTRALTM 9 have been resolved. |
