New Features in WordPerfect® Office 2002 Enhance a "Suite" Experience
The upcoming release of Corel's flagship office suite will include many new and improved features designed to make work easier and to save time. WordPerfect 10 and Corel® Presentations™ 10 allow users to export files to PDF format in a single step. Tables in WordPerfect 10 and Charts in Quattro® Pro 10 have also been improved. Variables, a new feature in WordPerfect 10, lets users insert a variable in multiple places throughout a document and have all instances automatically replaced with a specified block of text.
Plus, Net2Phone® Internet Calling Service has been integrated into the CorelCENTRAL™ 10 personal information manager, allowing users to place international calls directly from their desktops and send voice-enabled e-mails over the Internet. WordPerfect Office 2002 will also feature the electronic version of The Pocket Oxford Dictionary, the world's most trusted reference.

Skewing table cells in WordPerfect 9
In WordPerfect 9, you can skew table cells. This feature lets you slant the top row or the left or right column to add interesting visual effects to your tables.
To skew table cells:
1. Right-click a table, and click Format.
2. Click the Skew tab.
3. Choose the part of the table you want skewed from the Skew Settings list.

Layering objects in CorelDRAW 10:
1. Using the Pick tool, select an object you want to place in front of another.
2. Click Arrange, Order, Behind. The pointer changes to a large, dark arrow.
3. Click the object you want to place behind the selected object.

Adding headers or footers in Quattro® Pro 9 for Linux®:
In Quattro Pro 9 for Linux, you can add a header or footer. This feature lets you display additional information about a document, such as a page number, the title of the document, or the date on each printed page.
To add a header or footer:
1. Click File, Page Setup.
2. Click the Header/Footer tab.
3. In the Header or the Footer section, enable the Create check box.
4. Type the text for the header or footer.
