Drawing grid patterns from the center outward in CorelDRAW 10

In CorelDRAW 10, you can draw grid patterns from the center outward. This feature lets you have more control over the location of the grid patterns, graph paper, or table outlines that you draw.

To draw a grid pattern from the center outward:

1. Open the Object flyout, and click the Graph paper tool. The Object flyout also contains the Polygon and Spiral tools.
2. In the Graph paper columns and rows box on the property bar, type the number of columns and rows you want the grid to have.
3. Click where you want the center of the grid to be, hold down SHIFT, and drag the pointer.

Resizing graphics by dragging in WordPerfect 10

In WordPerfect 10, you can resize graphics by dragging. This feature lets you quickly make graphics smaller or larger by using the mouse.

To resize a graphic by dragging:

1. Select a graphic.
2. Place the tip of the mouse pointer on a corner handle.
3. Drag toward the center of the graphic to make it smaller, or away from the center to make it larger. The graphic scales horizontal and vertical dimensions proportionately when a corner handle is dragged.
