It's Almost Here! Previews of WordPerfect® Office 2002 Build Anticipation for Upcoming Launch

Corel continued to impress crowds at tradeshows last month as it showcased the new features of WordPerfect® Office 2002 to legal and government professionals.

The reception from both groups was fantastic, with particular interest being shown in the new "Variables" and "Publish to PDF" features of WordPerfect. The Variables feature lets users insert a variable in multiple places throughout a document and have all instances automatically replaced with a specified block of text. The enhanced Publish to PDF feature allows the inclusion of hyperlinks, bookmarks and even watermarks—definitely something for professionals to get excited about! In the true spirit of WordPerfect, file formats will remain unchanged and users can be assured of backward compatibility.

While an official launch date is still to come in the days ahead, upgrade pricing is now available. Current WordPerfect users can upgrade to WordPerfect Office 2002 Standard Edition for $159.00 US* and to WordPerfect Office 2002 Professional Edition for $259.00 US*.

Visit Corel.com in the coming weeks for more information on the new features and different versions of WordPerfect Office 2002.

*Pricing subject to change.
