Tom Berquist, Interim CEO

Tom Berquist serves as Corel's Interim CEO and joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in September 2009. Passionate about photography, Tom is rarely seen without the latest gadget or his camera in hand. Anyone who has met Tom knows that his evangelism and contagious enthusiasm for consumer tech comes as second nature.

As Corel's Chief Financial Officer, Tom led the company’s Finance, IT, Customer Support and Manufacturing teams in providing essential support services for the company's global operations. Prior to joining Corel, Tom was Chief Financial Officer at Ingres, a private open source software company based in Redwood City, CA. Tom also served as a Managing Director of Equity Research for Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Piper Jaffray where he covered several of the world's top software companies including Microsoft, Adobe, Intuit, Symantec, and Autodesk. As a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, Tom was responsible for selling and managing large enterprise software implementation projects for customers including the City of Chicago, GMAC, Tyco International, US Bancorp, and Honeywell.

Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Graham Brown, Chief Technology Officer

Graham Brown has served as Corel's Chief Technology Officer since August 2008. In this capacity, Mr. Brown is responsible for ensuring that Corel’s technology platforms and IP continually evolve to meet the changing needs of customers. He is also responsible for regularly assessing technology opportunities that would complement Corel’s product vision. Previously, Mr. Brown held the positions of Executive Vice President, Product Development, from April 2002, and Vice President of Software Development, Business Applications, from 1998 to 2000. He joined Corel in 1991. Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.

Amanda Bedborough, Executive Vice President, Global Sales

Amanda Bedborough has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in 2001. In her current role as Executive Vice President, Global Sales, Ms. Bedborough is responsible for defining and leading the company's global channel, eCommerce and OEM sales strategies.

With over 19 years of international sales experience, Ms. Bedborough has built strong working relationships with global distributors and OEMs and has established a successful track record of expanding business into new markets. Prior to joining Corel, she served as Vice President, EMEA Operations for 3dfx Interactive, Inc., and as International Sales and Marketing Director at STB Systems Inc., before it was acquired by 3dfx. Ms. Bedborough is a Member of the Institute of Directors.

Patrick Nichols, President of WinZip Computing

Patrick Nichols has served as the President of WinZip Computing, a Corel Company, since Nov 2009. Mr. Nichols leads the business and strategic direction for WinZip, the world's most popular Zip utility, as well as the full WinZip file compression and security product line.

Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Nichols served as a General Manager within the Trilogy/Versata family of companies where he was responsible for new acquisitions and business ownership of a portfolio of Versata companies. Before joining Trilogy/Versata, Mr. Nichols worked as a product manager and technical consultant at Microsoft, and served as a researcher for the Department of Defense and Department of Energy through the Cornell Engineering and Theory Center. Mr. Nichols holds a BS from Cornell University.

Chad Kinzelberg , Executive Vice President and GM, Digital Media

As Executive Vice President and GM, Digital Media, Mr. Kinzelberg leads the business and strategic direction for Corel's portfolio of digital media products including the Paint Shop, Video Studio, and WinDVD product lines.

Prior to joining Corel, Chad was a Partner at Scale Venture Partners. Chad invested in and helped grow a variety of Internet and software startups. Before his role at Scale Venture Partners, Chad was General Manager and Senior Vice President of VeriSign's SSL business unit, managing the P&L and leading all functional groups for the company's flagship division. He served as President and CEO of Santa Cruz Networks and VP of Marketing at Caere Corporation (now Nuance). He also held senior-level positions with Delrina Corporation and Polaris Software. Mr. Kinzelberg holds an MBA degree from Rice University and a BA degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.

Nick Davies, Senior Vice President and GM, Graphics & Productivity

Nick Davies has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in 2001. As Senior Vice President and GM, Graphics & Productivity, Mr. Davies is responsible for Corel’s graphics and office productivity business. In this role, he oversees Business Strategy, Product Management, User Experience Design, Research & Development, Quality Assurance as well as Documentation and Localization for all graphics, illustration and business productivity applications including CorelDRAW, Painter, Designer, WordPerfect Office and Corel Office.

With over 15 years of strategic marketing and brand building experience, Mr. Davies previously held positions as Vice President EMEA for Ecademy Ltd., Brand and Marketing Manager for Coleman Europe, Commercial Manager France for Virgin Cola, and Marketing Director for Puma Sports company. Mr. Davies holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School in France, and a BA with honors in Business Administration from the European Business School in the United Kingdom.

Shawn Cadeau, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing

Shawn Cadeau has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since rejoining the company in 2006. As Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Mr. Cadeau is responsible for all aspects of marketing at Corel. These areas include strategy and market intelligence, product marketing, branding, global marketing activities and campaigns as well as PR and corporate communications.

Prior to Corel, Mr. Cadeau was responsible for product marketing for Adobe's enterprise and server business. He joined Adobe Systems through the company's acquisition of Accelio Corporation (formerly JetForm) in April 2002. At JetForm, Mr. Cadeau served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing and as a VP and GM of the eDocuments Business Unit. Prior to JetForm, he was Director of Product Management and Marketing at Cebra Inc., an e-business subsidiary of the Bank of Montreal. In the mid 1990s, Mr. Cadeau was responsible for product management for Corel's consumer products. He holds an Honours degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Nathalie Parent, Vice President, Human Resources

Nathalie Parent has served as a member of Corel's senior executive team since joining the company in April 2009. In her current role as Vice President, Human Resources, Ms. Parent is responsible for employee compensation and benefits, organizational development, talent management, succession planning and employee relations and communications.

Prior to joining Corel, Ms. Parent spent 13 years at Cognos Incorporated both in Canada and in Europe, most recently serving as VP, HR, Global Operations where she was responsible for Field Operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to her work at Cognos, Ms. Parent served as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and she is a Certified Human Resource Professional and a Certified Global Compensation Professional. She sits on the Global Advisory Board of WorldatWork and has been a featured speaker at several conferences.

Eleanor B. Lacey, General Counsel and Vice President, Business Development

Eleanor Lacey has served as Corel's General Counsel and Vice President, Business Development since August 2009. Prior to joining Corel, Ms. Lacey served as Vice-President, Corporate Development at SupportSoft, Inc. where she was responsible for mergers & acquisitions and managed the partner channel for the Company's direct consumer business. Prior to joining SupportSoft, Ms. Lacey was Vice President & General Counsel at Niku Corporation, until it was acquired by Computer Associates, Inc. after which she was responsible for business development in their Business Services Optimization division. Prior to joining Niku, Ms. Lacey was a Corporate Counsel at Autodesk, Inc., a design software company and its APAC liaison focusing on anti-piracy efforts in the APAC region. Before starting her in-house career, Ms. Lacey was a commercial litigator in San Francisco specializing in intellectual property and employment law. Ms. Lacey received her JD from Yale Law School and her BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
