About Vincent Oliver

Vincent OliverIntroduction

Vincent Oliver has been a professional photographer for over 30 years. His photographic work has been varied with much of it based in the television industry – working as freelance for most TV publications and TV companies in the UK. He specialises in portraiture, photographing TV and film celebrities, as well as being on the Royal rota to photograph members of the Royal family.

Vincent has exhibited his work at various arts galleries internationally including the Photographers’ Gallery, London. He was the first photographer to have a fine art photograph accepted for the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London. His photographs were also seen by thousands of people each day with an exhibition on a London underground train. 'Vincent Oliver’s Moving Picture Show' received much critical acclaim from TV, radio and the national press.

An avid user of Corel® Paint Shop Pro® and Corel VideoStudio™, Vincent was one of the first photographers to adopt digital technology and, drawing on his technical and practical knowledge, he acts as a consultant for many leading manufacturers, as well as writing for several specialist imaging publications. He established the website www.photo-i.co.uk in 2003 and it has been visited by over 50 million unique visitors.

As a natural progression from still photography, Vincent has turned his expertise to video production. As well as the video tutorials that he records for Corel, Vincent has produced and published two highly acclaimed DVDs on digital photography.
