Using Smart Cut and Paste

Cutting and pasting information saves an incredible amount of time since you don’t have to retype or recreate information. An added bonus is that accuracy is preserved. There is just one tiny problem: there are always extra spaces that have to be cleaned up when you cut and paste. Granted, it may only take a few seconds to adjust the spacing, but it’s repetitive work.

The Smart Cut and Paste feature can “intelligently” insert and delete spaces when cutting and pasting words in paragraphs.

To turn on Smart Cut and Paste:
1. Click Tools > Options. The General options are shown by default.
2. Enable the Use Smart Cut and Paste check box.
3. Click OK.
