Graphic Design
Including any creative graphic, illustration, package design, poster, advertisement, drawing, etc.
(Eligible Software: CorelDRAW®、Painter™、Painter™ Essentials、PhotoImpact®、Paint Shop Pro® )


Video Editing
Including any personal movie, travelogue, documentary advertisement, funny clip or slideshow, etc.

Entries must be produced using Corel software as the principal design and production tools. Entries that do not satisfy this condition will be disqualified.

Complete the entry form and upload your entry files on the official contest Website. You may enter as many times as you like in the Graphic Design and Video Editing categories, but you are eligible for only one prize per group.

Fields for uploading digital files for your entry are included in the entry form. Your entry is complete when the digital artwork files and entry form are both uploaded successfully.
 
   

Graphic Design Category:

Please complete the Entry Form for Graphic Design Category at the contest Website to upload your entry display and project files. You will be required to upload three file sizes:  One for your official entry, one for the Web gallery, and one thumbnail image.

a ) Project files must be 300 dpi and 800x800 pixels or smaller,. File size must be under 10 MB. Please refer to the following table for the file formats to provide:

b ) Gallery images should be no larger than 425x344 pixels, 96 dpi, in “.jpg” format.

c ) Thumbnail images should be 200x150 pixels, 96dpi in “jpg” format.
   
   

Video Editing Category

a ) Create an original video no longer than 3 minutes in duration that reflects the contest theme. Include the name of the production software used, Corel VideoStudio, during the last 3~5 seconds of the video.
   
b ) Next, upload your original video entry to YouTube, by visiting www.youtube.com and uploading your video. One requirement is that your video must be in the .wmv, .avi, .mov, or .mpg file formats.
   
  How to upload?
Upload your video to YouTube and add “Corel VideoStudio” as a tag. In VideoStudio 11 and later versions you can upload video to YouTube directly. See this tutorial for details.

c ) When your video is uploaded and approved for viewing, YouTube will provide an “Embed” code ( see glossary ) for your video. Copy this code for use in the contest entry form.

d ) Submit your video using the Register Form for Video Editing Group. Include the YouTube “Embed” code, the “.vsp” project file and a thumbnail image. The project file must be smaller than 6MB. The thumbnail image should be 200x150 pixels, 96dpi and in “.jpg” format.
   
 
   
The Contest is open until May 31st, 2009.
   

 
 
 
 

Scores from the panel of contest judges will make up 50% of the score for each entry. The second 50% will be based on popular voting by visitors to the contest Website.
